Gurumin contains a variety of items that Parin can use, ranging from different headgear and outfits, parts for her drill, or consumable items with different effects.
Drill Parts
Drill parts can be acquired in two different ways. Parts for unlocking new drill abilities can be purchased from Cylinder in exchange for Pockles. These parts are consumed upon purchase and the new special abilities are available for Parin to use. In addition to these parts, there are three special parts that Parin can equip on her drill, each with its own element and special effects. These parts stay in Parin's inventory as reusable items. By unequipping any currently equipped part, Parin's drill can be returned to a normal, non-elemental state.

Headgear
Gurumin contains a variety of different headgear that Parin can equip. Many types of headgear can be bought from Disk's Shop in exchange for Pockles. Hyperbolic will trade some headgear in exchange for Gold Medals. Some headgear is found or given as a reward for completing certain challenges. All types of headgear can be upgraded at Disk's Shop in exchange for Junk.
For new players, it is highly recommended that you obtain and upgrade the Goggles and Gas Mask headgear to level 2 as quickly as possible, as many areas have water or gas which can quickly drain Parin's HP. While other headgear offer these protections, the Goggles and Gas Mask are available early and cost very little in Junk, as they only need be upgraded once each to gain immunity.
Note: Headgear retains effects from previous levels, unless otherwise specified.
